Most interior walls are built with drywall, which absorbs water.  Even a small amount of water at the base of the wall can become a big problem over time, affecting the framing materials behind the wall.

When drywall gets wet, it isn’t normally salvaged and will need to be replaced.  The longer the drywall is saturated, the chances are more likely that they will need to be replaced.

The key to dry wet walls quickly is to get air moving around them. 

By drilling holes, we can dry the wall cavity from the inside out. If the interior wall was wet for a short period, the wall cavity can be dried by the inside out by drilling holes at the base. Drilling holes allows efficient drying with minimal damage, reducing mitigation and rebuild costs.
