Spring Cleaning!

As spring comes around, it’s time to start cleaning out closets, drawers, and those hard-to-reach areas we look over throughout the year. Here are a few tips to get you started and to stay focused during your spring cleaning.

1. Cleaning inside your cupboards, most people don’t regularly clean here since it’s where all your clean dishes go without realizing that dust collects here still.
2. Reorganize high traffic areas.
3. Purchase organizational bins.
4. Dust your blinds and windowsills.
5. Cleaning off your front porch and mats
6. Wiping down walls.
7. Examine and change furnace filters, if necessary.
8. Check the expiration date on medication before throwing it out.
9. Check your refrigerator temperature. It should be at 40°
10. Cleaning window and shower curtains.
11. Cleaning out and freshening your garbage disposal
12. Clean your shower heads.
13. Cleaning all your child’s toys
14. Check appliance cords and make sure there are no frays, cracks or breaks. If so, repair or replace.
15. Test your smoke alarms.
